Headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, ZEBEX set up a branch office in Shanghai, China, in 2000, and the Shanghai office helps its presentation and penetration into China, the largest market in the world. On the other hand, in 2007, ZEBEX was reorganized into SBU (Scanner Business Unit) and TBU (Terminal Business Unit) to be respectively absorbed in ZEBEX Barcode Scanner Products & ZEBEX Terminal Models. The reorganization leads to greater investment in equipments, facilities and manpower; it also shows the ambition of ZEBEX to become a professional Auto-ID solution provider.
Currently ZEBEX holds 9 product lines: 1) Handheld Scanners, 2) Hands-Free Scanners, 3) In-Counter Scanners, 4) Scan Engines, and 5) Scan Modules for SBU; 6) Data Collectors, 7) Proprietary Terminals, 8) Handheld Computers and 9) Fixed Computers for TBU. Those finely-diversified and cost-efficient products are fully-ranged to fit different and various circumstances of application.
What behind the comprehensive product lines is a strong team of experts. One crucial component is ZEBEX R&D aiming to design and manufacture the most desired products. For example, there are numerous core technologies and techniques invented and patented by ZEBEX.By utilizing dual laser diodes, ZEBEX delivers the hands-free scanners above others in its class. The ZEBEX proprietary decoding technology, Z-SCAN+, providing real-time decoding capabilities, generates fascinating shorter transaction times and increases overall scanning efficiency. In addition, the emerging awareness of aesthetics importance is demonstrated by ZEBEX as Z-1070 Series and Z-3051HS are honored with iF Product Design Award 2007 and 2009, and Z-3060 Sniper with red dot design award: product design 2007 in Germany, and Z-6070 also obtains the honor of Good Design Award 2007 in Japan. |
ZEBEX also has a team of well-trained sales representatives and marketing specialists that hold their active, aggressive and considerate attitudes and put customers’ requirements as their own.
